A family-friendly mountain cabin in a quiet, secluded neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown Pagosa Springs. The back door and the large porch look out over open mountain and valley views, and the sunsets are worth staying up for.

It suits a young family well. There are books, games and a pack-and-play for the children, and the owners can set out more baby gear or stock the fridge before you arrive. Elk, deer and wild turkey are often seen nearby, and the hot springs are about 20 minutes away.
