Our story

The idea

The concept for Holy Homes began forming as I experienced the generosity of homeowners who offered my fellow FOCUS missionaries and me beautiful Catholic places to go on retreat and grow closer as a team.

Years later, after I married and had young kids, our family was invited to vacation at friends’ homes in California, Colorado, Florida, and Wyoming. On those trips our family grew closer and deeper in our faith by building spiritual experiences into our itinerary.

Holy Homes grew out of experiencing this generosity and its fruits – rest, memories, conversations with the Lord, and moments of deeper trust when challenges arose.

Holy Homes was founded to spread that experience, offering the places and experiences that draw people closer to God and into community with each other.
